At Detroit Event Company, our team is passionate about live events. We love being a part of life’s great moments, the togetherness of community, and the raw energy and epic amounts of fun that great entertainment creates. Talented entertainers create amazing guest experiences, but can create a ton of stress for their clients if they’re not professional by showing up late, missing details, and being difficult to work with. Professional entertainers do all the right things off-stage but can bore an audience if the talent isn’t there.

Our vetting process ensures that anyone on the Detroit Event Company roster meets both criteria so that you, our clients, can have the confidence to select any act you feel best fits your vision. Our vendor management team personally interviews the main contact for the artist – just like a job interview – to verify they understand the professional elements of the live event business. We confirm these artists are exactly the types of people you’re going to love working with. After that, we go out and personally witness the performances to ensure your guests will love the artist as much as you do!

Once we’ve selected an artist that we know is talented and professional, we bring them through our onboarding process – which includes developing standardized pricing, sample videos that showcase their talent, and all of the behind-the-scenes systems to ensure that you have a smooth experience with booking and executing your event.

We have exclusive booking relationships with some acts (see the Our Acts menu at the top of the page), and we have non-exclusive booking relationships with many others. Oh - and if you’re looking for something that we don’t already have, we’ll find and vet that talent for you!
