We're  here to help.

We're living in strange times, but if you've been considering the possibility of cancelling or postponing your wedding, you're probably experiencing a flood  of emotions and feeling overwhelmed by the issues to troubleshoot. We're hearing that many couples are feeling frustrated, sad, and helpless. This wasn't supposed to happen! And we feel the same.

Here's how we can work together to get excited about a new date for your event:

Scheduling Your New Date:

It's time to get excited about a new wedding date! We know right now you may not be excited about moving from a date you've had your heart set on. We promise that you'll come to treasure your anniversary date the same way you always would have, and over the years, the frustration involved with changing the date will fade away.

  • Subject to the availability of your band, we're able to help you move your wedding date to any open date. In order to be respectful of new couples booking their weddings, Saturdays from May 1 to Nov 30 are blackout dates not available for rescheduled weddings. However, these dates can be purchased for a fee.

  • If your band isn't available on your new date , we will help you find a new band and apply your existing retainer toward the new band contract.

  • If you want to keep your vendor lineup intact, consider a Thursday, Friday or Sunday. These dates typically have more availability, so there's a good chance all your plans can remain the same. If you'd like help coordinating dates with your other vendors, we have developed a tool for this and we're happy to do this for you free of charge. Just ask us how!

Payments:

This is an extremely tough situation for everyone. There's been a lot of publicity about layoffs in a variety of industries. Unfortunately, event vendors have been left out of most headlines, and our income has disappeared over night. Many of us are having issues with unemployment. so we're taking loans to cover living expenses, and that's scary! At the same time, we understand you may be facing difficult financial times as well, so we're looking to work together with you.

  • If you book your rescheduled date with us, we will apply your retainer toward your new contract.

  • If you move to an open date (that isn't blacked out), there will be no additional fees incurred, and we will simply initial a date change on your existing contract.

  • While are not increasing rates from year-to-year, you will need to pay a fee if you decide to move to a blackout date (May 1 to Nov 30).

  • Any unpaid balances will be due to the entertainer by the newly rescheduled date.
The hard part: If you decide to cancel your wedding, we know it wasn't an easy choice, and we support you in that decision. Our contracts do include a fee for cancelled events, but if you are unable to host your event due to restrictions related to COVID-19, we will waive the cancellation fee. Unfortunately, retainers are non-refundable as they cover services already rendered, but we are happy to work with you to apply your retainer toward a new date. Thanks for your understanding. Looking forward to party time, whenever that is!
